Don't tell me, I've once taken lightheartedly one of those pills, then I've realized too late that they colored it with something I'm evidently allergic to. I dunno if melatonin works or not, but the hives certainly didn't let me sleep that night
It is not a miracle pill but in my experience the main advantage is when I wake up at night I go back to sleep more easily.

@EarthlingWise it is not about it being a miracle but it seemed like it had an opposite effect on me.. i was sleepy and i started dosing off then suddenly i felt so alarmed and not sleepy at all
@BittersweetPotato Well, maybe your brain resisted. Or maybe your body detected something new, some people say it takes a bit of time to get accustomed. But Kwek00 is right, we must try to take it easy first.

@EarthlingWise I am way past taking it easy, i need something to leave me subconscious!! I am tired of the lack of sleep and the quality of it.. its been going on for a while now that my muscles are permanently aching and i have trouble with focus...

Melatonin is not a sleeping pill, good for resetting your sleep cycle, if needed taking it has to be timed right and taken in the correct amount, almost all the bottles I see have too high a dose.

I've been taking several and it works for a few hours but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it because I don't know if it's safe. I shouldn't have to do it for much longer though hopefully.

It's really inconsistent for me. Sometimes it works right away, sometimes it takes a bit, and sometimes it doesn't work at all.

I have ones that dissolve fast. I put it under my tongue to help absorption. It's not perfect though and my sleep sucks anyways

You sure you haven't switched your melatonin with cocaine?
