The other way to annoy them is to say 'YES' to every single question they ask you!
No other words, just YES :)

@Nimbus I tell them I don’t understand them and ask them to repeat what they are saying. Usually end up getting cussed after about the third time I ask. Some of them I can’t even understand half of what they are saying.

@cherokeepatti That works too 😛

@Nimbus They act like I’m being mean but if they can’t speak English well then why get a phone job. These scammer companies are desperate.

@cherokeepatti Exactly!
Another way to annoy them is say 'hold on, I just have to turn the cooker off' and then do not come back to them 😄

@Nimbus that’ll work too but they generally just hang up, I leave the phone on Speakerphone. 😂

@Nimbus Sometimes after they tell me their “name”, I reply in a feeble little old lady voice that I don’t know anyone by that name. And then ask them “do you know me?” When they say “no” I tell them they got the wrong number and hang up. 😂

@cherokeepatti That's good enough :)
I used to get a few calls of that nature every year but then I registered with my phone company and they automatically block them :)

@cherokeepatti You're enjoying this 🤭

@Nimbus These scammers use other people’s phone numbers (spoofing) usually local ones, when they call. So the numbers are never the same. Sometimes the cell phone company stops the call before I can answer.
