I made it to 65 years without having to grow up

I wonder how many people can say that

Been there, done that.

Still doing it at 68. :-)

@ninalanyon at 68, you're probably not gonna grow up now. You're in it for the long haul....I just love how responsibility was just not my thing, I had other imaginary priorities...as the termites eat the walls around me and I'd rather be out fishing, so to speak

@atlantic59 I feel like Merlin, I'm living backwards and getting younger with every year. I was never a rebellious teenager, had a conventional career, monogamous marriage. Then my wife died and my job disappeared at the same time. So I retired and had to reinvent myself, or perhaps more accurately discover myself, after two thirds of my life lived faithfully with same woman.

What i discovered was rather different from what I thought I was.

@ninalanyon self discovery at any age must be joyous and fun. Congratulations

@RedBaron All this time I've thought of You as a 'grown-up'; -someone who paid his bills, didn't drink, avoided scandals and was all-round respectable citizen.

@atlantic59 If that’s how you define it
