My only adult human interaction seems to be with cashiers

I'm at a point where I want to hear a voice, I want to see a smile or even a frown. Something beyond a text message, something that has a physical memory attached to it. I do enjoy the people I interact with in that way.

@Munumbis gym is in the basement. Use to like doing one particular class but don't live near it anymore

The best and worst thing about modern life is that you can go through so much of it only interacting with cashiers.

Then pretty soon, they'll be replacing the cashiers with automated AI and self-checkout, so people will be able to go through life only interacting with people during emergencies and appointments.

@GeistInTheMachine I hate self checkout. I don't work there and I don't get an employee discount, why would I be doing it all myself for the same price??
