one more reminder just how isolated i and so many others are in this world.

this past week ive had serious sinus issues and my voice has dropped a few octaves to point it sounded like a death rattle. there is one business calls the house daily for decades. i actually answered and repeatedly ask for help. the salesperson immediately starts into her speech then hangs up on me. totally ignoring my pleas for help. air condition, television, fences, and now internet have destroyed the friendly helpful neighborhoods that once existed. its rare to see anyone mow their own lawn, wash a vehicle, or clear pathway of snow. i better not count on the mailman should i actually require help either.
