i do not like friday nights during fall and winter seasons. i come home to a dark empty silent house.

there is less to do in this small town today than 50 years ago. no theater, bowling, skating rink. we never had a mall. even the library is closed. they unplug the traffic lights and roll up the streets at 8. the phone wont ring. no one at work cares about me. friday nights are so painful

So you make your home light up. Put on bright lights. Decorate with bright colors. Maybe paint your walls? Consider joining some online forums. They have zoom ones. You can socialize like that. Learn some new hobbies and skills. It is your life. Mt town is a ghosttown soon. I make my life happy. I live simply. And I work in a large city centre. When I am not working, it is worth the drive to see civilization and get supplies.
