I feel like an old pier

I feel so bored, lonely, and tired.

With life and living. Nothing excites me much anymore. I feel cast aside. Forgotten. The waves of existence are slowly eroding me down to the waterline. Only a jagged weathered shell remains.

Sigh. I feel like these guys right now:

And it might rain.

It's gotten this way on most social media websites.😔We are living in some gloomy sad times my friend. Just know you're not alone, many of us are feeling the same way. So many people I used to talk to have left here. I just pop in and out now days. It's cold and rainy over here, we haven't had Spring yet. 54 degrees here.👎

I enjoy your posts and am glad you replied.

This has been a strange, long week for me. I took the week off but did not go anywhere. So it has been like one long weekend, except most people are working so it is just me and the retired people and the moms with infants.

I am taking day trips, but nearly every place I have been I have been to before.

Except yesterday. That was new. And today I got lost for an hour while driving around the countryside. That was nice.

Now it is time to drive home. I think I want to just get drunk.

I've been telling myself that each day this week and yet when I get home I just go to bed.

The only people I talk to are on here.

I did talk a little to an old lady today walking her little dog near a koi pond. I was seated cross-legged on the bank of the pond. It was full of fish! She said something about the fish and I replied.

Here is a photo I took of the pond about a month or so ago:

Yes, and friendly. Somebody must feed them since they will come over to people and stay a while.

Also, I tossed in a piece of bark and they went nuts thinking it was food. The signs say do not feed them, but I suspect park staff feed them. Unless they subsist on algae or something.
