I Am Sad and Lonely

So I told the guy i liked so much that we should stop talking and to stop being close and be dependent with each other. because, well He’s married and I know ihave to do the right thing. At 1st, I thought it was just a past time for me until later on I know something is stirring inside of me. When I told him the everything should stop, He told me he understands and that he will keep his distance. No we haven’t have sex, purely emotional. Now, I’m having a hard time letting go of the fact that whenever I feel lonely I can’t run to him anymore. I said, I can but I choose not to. This time, the universe did not conspire for the both of us. I should be happy but I’m not. Hopefully things will get better coz hey! I did the right thing right?

You are sad now but remember, it's only temporarily. Something, someone will soon make you happy and you'll also feel other emotions. You did the right thing, you know it. You don't miss him, you miss someone being next to you. Maybe you should focus on that?

@ImPurple You do realise there wouldn't be a future for you two? You liked him and he's married - if he liked you he wouldn't hide his feelings and you wouldn't be a "side chick" (and even if he did chose you, your "happiness" would be born from someone else's tears which could give you very bad karma). Either way, you'd end up hurt. This way, you can seek happiness with someone who'll put you in the first place.
Don't think too much about it. You're hurt right now. Focus on doing things that make you happy and meeting new people, it might ease your pain during this time.
