I believe your tolerance level goes down with age. As for the tat, it's your body so do what you want with it, is my way of thinking but consider if your wife takes your preferences into consideration with what she wears, hairstyles, etc. and try to find a compromise

Think hard about it before you make that decision, escaping doesn't always equal happiness.

Everything evolves, everyone changes, grows. Why are you so afraid of it and trying to hide it from the people close to you instead of embracing it and taking them along with you?

Afraid that I'm changing and moving away from my life now, afraid I will loose everything and afraid of upsetting those close to me. But I also know I need to change!

Wanting to do stuff for me, tattoos and not put up with anyone I don't really like. I have only recently started making a stand and put over my opinion.

I'm sorry, I don't really either, I talk to a sister sometimes, but she doesn't really get me and worries about me. (Older sister)

Wife has already noticed it but has also said she doesn't like the new me. Hence I try to hide/ignore it!
