I Am Lonely

Well, it's been over a month now. I've tried to put myself out there on this site, and no matter what I do, it seems to make no difference at all. It's like, everyone seems to care about each other here, and I'm stuck on the outside looking in. And now I'm crying :/

I believe after high school, it's tougher to make friends because we see people our age range less and less. Even if you attend college, you don't have the same classes with some of your classmates, and when classes finish, people usually go home or go to work and you and they have to do homework and read textbooks for a long time. Social time is shorter while study time is longer. Your classmates may not become your friends because some of them just talk to you for help with the class that you two share. If you work after high school, your exposure to people at your age range is smaller. Your co-workers may not become your friends. People after high school are hustling to survive. They need to work or focus on their studies to get a job or career that pays adequately so that they can live with enough. I don't know if it gets easier to make friends once you're financially independent, you own a vehicle, and you live on your own. However, once you have spending money, you can go to meetups, attend concerts, go to the beach, play sports at a park or gym with a sports league, watch a movie at a cinema, or go anywhere else you like and do anything you want. You'll meet people with similar interests as yours when you go to places where people do the stuff you like.

Update: For making friends online, join forums you like such as gaming, movies, TV shows, fiction writing sites for writers.

Update #2: Also forums about music, books or comment on YouTube videos.
