I Am Lonely
I left my girlfriend a while back. In ways I don't really understand, I'm regretting it.
Suddenly, there's nobody to text. Nobody I can say "I love you" to. Nobody out there who I know loves me back, even if things aren't working out between us. There's nobody. Suddenly, I'm alone.
When I broke up with her, I was tired of her. She wasn't the person I was looking for. Yet, I had confidence. I'd tasted love, and thought I could go without. It was something I took for-granted.
Now, I feel as if the ground beneath me isn't completely solid anymore.
I am without the knowledge that someone cares.
And it's scary.
