@jmr,the majority of mine are in Arizona so I'm the same ,keeping in touch on FB. I'll be heading out there end of this month for a visit. Will get to see my newest 2 month old granddaughter,looking forward to that. One graduating hs and meet my grandsons new wife who will have my first great grandchild this fall. Can you see what I concentrate on these days? Lol,sometimes I forget I'm lonely lol

@jmr,I've always settled,low self esteem in my life. Not only am I to old to start again now that I FINALLY realize my self worth I'm raising one of my grandkids. I'm doing the right thing for her. So I feel you on feeling alone

@jmr,yes it can be rough so I spend alot of time online to help with the loneliness. Out of 12 grandkids she's the only one I've had to raise so I consider myself lucky lol,she's my buddy! @marsane,,that was wonderful

Sometimes, we end up picking the same type of person. I think this happens, at times, if you don't give your heart a chance to heal and just jump right into the next relationship.

Unfortunately it's a sad pattern we seem to follow, but now I don't even know if I want to find anyone else, I'm more prepared to spend the rest of my life alone than anything else I think

@Bam:I realized I have a tendency to picked cold guys..why? Have no idea...possibly I think the calmness is a good thing to balance me out? End up feeling bored and feeling more alone than when I am alone.

@Barn: Good going raising that grand-kid, I have a little granddaughter I love, she is my sunshine!
