Found this on tiktok, and it made me think of my dads side of the family..

I know if I d*** they would come to the funeral, maybe even cry a little. But they haven't shown any effort to reach out since my dad passed away 13 years ago.. 🤷🏼‍♀ Only time my dads brother called me was to yell at me for taking too long with spreading his ashes - he didn't ask how I was doing, didn't ask if he could help, just straight up yelled at me, and then hung up before I could react.

Except for my grandparents, but the last time I spoke to them was before covid, and after the last time I reached out in 2021, they haven't reached out again, and haven't invited me to anything (which they told me they would the last time we met in 2019) 🤷🏼‍♀

It's sad, but it is what it is..
