English is not my first language and some days It's more noticible than others..

Like when I walked into our room, knowing my husband was trying to scare me, so I said "Don't make me scared", instead of "don't scare me" 🙃 i truly am byelingual..

I also have a habit of saying "can you turn up/down the window", instead of asking to open or close it🙄 At this point I'm just rolling with it - if it makes sense in my head - people will just have to figure it out.. 🥹

I also told my man that we needed to buy patrón, he said okei a bit confused then asked me later why I needed patrón, and I told him very confidently that we obviously needed it for the grill 🤷🏼‍♀ Propane.. I meant propane....😂

Edit: And yes, I wrote noticible instead of noticeable, deal with it 🤷🏼‍♀

Learning another language takes quite a while. I am in the process of learning French. The "scholastic" version is easy but I still struggle with the real-world version.

I notice a couple people have asked what your first language is. I understand why you would prefer not to say because then they will just send DM's in that language, trying to flirt.
That is typically how men act though. They will find ANY excuse to try flirting. Describing those types of men would take a whole list of new vocabulary. 😄

BTW, the guy who corrected you on the word "noticeable" probably doesn't speak any other languages himself.

But yeah your English is fine, do not worry. 🙂

@HoeBag I've spoken English since I was a kid, my brain just likes to spice it up once in a while🥹
French is hard, I also tried to learn it for my stepmom, but gave up 🙃
