Y'all probably missed me talking about politics, so..

Jk, but wtf kind of world are we living in?

From watching people and KIDS being unalived on live broadcasting, to watching people talk about how they love starving Palestinians, to women unaliving themselves because of the horrors they're living thru in their country, to innocent people being restrained in a torture trap because they're deemed "illegal", to waking up almost daily to a president randomly having outbursts on social media and kidnapping presidents, to billionaires EATING children. I'm sick.

About a month or two ago, I deleted most of my politic posts online, I archived a lot, I unfollowed some people, and tried to change my algorithm to see less evil. I felt horrible doing that, cause I know some people depend on me speaking up for them and being there for them, but the anxiety I've felt has been so overwhelming, I just needed to see something beautiful or something nice to not lose all my faith in humanity. After taking some time offline, I feel more able to not look away anymore. It's a privilege to be able to log off and just "live normal", to decide what you want to see and what you want to "ignore". That's a privilege so many people don't have, and it breaks my heart.

My friend (little brother) in Gaza is still to this day living in a tent. It's unsafe for him and his family to go back to the area where he lived, and even when they can go back, his apartment is in ruins now - he went there to check some time ago, it's all destroyed.

My heart breaks for every single person going thru a hard time, living in a geno--de, war, starving, being hunted down by ICE because of their last name, accent or brown skin, people being torn away from their families. I'm so sorry, I wish I could heal the world, and throw out the garbage..

It will swing back. In time.

Those horrid authoritarians and wealthy should probably read about the French Revolution. If pushed too far, the downtrodden might visit horrors upon them in the counter swing of the pendulum.
