In my mind walls can easily be removed..

I was taking a shower when I started daydreaming about remodeling the bathroom.. Our shower has shelves like in the wall, ya know? and so in my mind that means the whole wall has more space that we're not using.. So I told my husband I want to remove that wall, put up kinda like backsplash on that wall, then build a new wall on the other wall (only in the shower) where we can have built in shelves instead, so extend the shower ofc..
He said that they probably boxed those shelves in, and it doesn't mean there's just empty space on that wall.. But like what does he know, it's not like he's a framer or anything (he actually is but that's not the point..)🙄
Also where I want to extend the shower and build in shelves is where our washer is now, so we have to move that.. But no worries, cause I also want to change out the entire sink vanity thingy, so I'll just move it there somehow 🤷🏼♀
Anyways he said we'll need to look behind the tiles to see, or get some drawing thing of the apartment.. I say let's just tear it down - and this is why I share my ideas with him BEFORE I act on them..🤷🏼♀
Seriously tho, my idea is amazing and needs to happen.. 😅 I'm so excited, I haven't even thought about where the money would come from🥹
