Sometimes, it's hard being multilingual..

I wanted my husband to shut the blinds, so I told him to "turn down the blinds", that didn't sound right, so I added "shut out the light with that thingy" pointing at the window🤷🏼‍♀🤦🏼‍♀

I do this all the time lol. My husband's native language is Ukrainian and mine is Danish, but we speak to each other in English, and sometimes we can't even understand what the other person is trying to say. 🤣
