I wanted my husband to shut the blinds, so I told him to "turn down the blinds", that didn't sound right, so I added "shut out the light with that thingy" pointing at the window🤷🏼‍♀🤦🏼‍♀

My favorite was when my grandmother told me I have to come with my grandfather, but instead of saying "with" she used the German "mit" and ended up saying I have to "come mit him," which sounds like she was telling me to commit him.

@BohemianBabe I grew up to my great grandma asking if we wanted "sprit-e lite" cause she couldn't say sprite light 🥹😂 It's a good memory 🥹
