"I took the dr*gs, and the dr*gs are working.."

I woke up to my husband giving me my adhd meds, and actually had a very nice morning, was in a good mood and had this damn line on my mind, while I tried getting things done...

While I was singing "I took the dr*gs, and the dr*gs are working, the dr*gs are workiing.." over and over again, I got a message from a friend saying "Where are you? are y'all not coming??"..

I had no idea, I had plans today 🤦🏼‍♀ Turns out, I accepted an invite to a babyshower on fb (it's my friends babyshower, so I feel bad for missing it, but who tf uses fb anymore), and that was today..

So I changed the song to "I took the dr*gs, but the dr*gs ain't working.." and just accepted that I'm a mess, and horrible at keeping up with plans - especially when they're made months in advance with no reminder. 🥹
