Let me share a story I posted yesterday..

The texts are from my friend in Gaza.

I'm not celebrating this ceasefire announcement, because already yesterday I knew that Nathan....-porjfk would try to mess it up last minute. And today I woke up to news that he's trying his best.

In the first part of this ceasefire 33 Israeli hostages will be released. 990-1650 Palestinan hostages will also be released. Do you see the contrast yet?

Yesterday people gathered to celebrate the news in Gaza. Right after a Isreali attack killed 70 Palestinians. People that were celebrating the bare freaking minimum, where martyred before even being able to start rebuilding.

If there's a ceasefire, why wait until Sunday? Why not stop the attacks today? yesterday?
Because they don't want a ceasefire. This has never been about the hostages or 7th October.

If anyone wants to argue, know that you'll be arguing with yourself. I don't have the energy or strenght to read or participate in anything negative on here.

Facts are facts, this is reality, wake up.

The contrast that I see is Hamas and the Palestinian authority hide behind their innocent civilians and you can't do that in war unless you want the civilian casualties. If Hamas and the Palestinian authority never attacks Israel again then Gaza would possibly have peace but as long as the good people in Gaza don't stand up to their corrupt government you will never have peace.

@Cassieeeee so in other words Egypt will not accept you as refugees either because a part of Gaza does touch Egypt.

@dale74 Please educate yourself on the history of Palestine and Israel. Talking about this as if Hamas started it makes you look really uneducated.

The ceasefire is a terrible mistake. The genocidal terrorist group Hamas must be dismantled completely or there will never be peace.

The refusal to acknowledge Israel's right to exist and the right of the Jews to live in the lands that God gave them is the root cause of the violence.

And it is so disgusting to hear people try to claim martyrdom for people who die as a result of such an evil and unholy act as what happened in Israel in October.

There is only one reason for the unbalance.

It needs to be addressed.

This is a hopeful update but it's so terrifying. I really appreciate this update. I hope against hope for peace.

Also of the 33 Israelis being returned only 23 of them are actually alive the other 10 are the remains after they were executed.

@basilfawlty89 no Israel has bent over backwards to provide Palestinians with a better life with hospitals and schools and yet your political government attacks Israel repeatedly so they defend themselves by attacking back your cowards in the Palestinian authority and Hamas hide in hospitals and schools leaving Israel with no other choice than to bomb those targets. It is a violation of the Geneva convention for you to hide military and military armaments in hospitals and schools but the Palestinian authority continues to violate standard rules of war by placing innocent children sick elderly in front of them. You blame the wrong person you blame Israel for what your own government causes.

@dale74 Please stop ✋ I’m getting provoked and I don’t feel like arguing today.

@dale74 Israel hasn't done anything for Palestinians except take their land.

@Cassieeeee You had to be smart and intuitive growing up. Not everyone did. Unfortunately the people who grew up safe, have the idea that it was by their own doing. 😆

@SinlessOnslaught True, at least all the trauma has made me able to think for myself 😂
@Cassieeeee I am learning that too I think.
