A little reminder

Reading thru my last post I actually started crying, and sent it to her 😭😭
Always remember to tell people you appreciate them. We spoke about this yesterday actually, and she said "people need to give roses while the other person is still alive" which is so true, and sadly often ignored.

Tell your friends you appreciate them, tell your spouse how much they mean to you, tell your parents or distant cousin. Just tell people, tell them what you like about them, tell people that you thought about them, or something reminded you about them. There's people I wish I would've told many things to, but now can't cause they're gone.

People don't need to be buried with flowers, tears and kind words, they need to smell the roses now, see and feel the love now, hear those kind words now while they're still here.

I'm also super emotional now, if y'all can't tell lol😭

I told my best friend yesterday these literal words: "I'm so grateful for your existance in my life and for being my friend and for being you, in general. I love you."
I tell my parents and siblings I love them every single day.
I tell the people I appreciate "I appreciate you" at any given occasion where they deserve it.
In their birthdays, my friends always benefit from a long message from me... describing in details how I feel about them objectively. They usually tear up from how genuine it is... and I'm genuinely so grateful for them.

I'm grateful for you too Cassie, you've been a sweetheart to me in those dark moments... thank you for being there. 💕
