Me vs my husband; decluttering

I've decided that all of our stuff are messing with my zen vibe lol.

So I've purged out my closet of anything that's not "the color I want this season" or "just feels wrong", I'm now left with a nice calming wardrobe...

Then there's my husband..
I told him to get rid of some stuff (put it down in the basement if he's not wearing it over fall/winter).
Him; "But.. It fits in the closet? Can't it just hang there until I'll wear it again?"
Me; "Nooo it doesn't fit"
Him; "It's there now.."
Me; "But look at it.. It's not calming."
Him; "It is if you shut the door"

I mean yea, but also no.. 🥹

I have to agree with hubby especially if he has his own closet

@pdockal We share, it's big tho, but I still have to see his stuff when I open it 😆

@Cassieeeee

I'll still have to agree with him
Cloths are for comfort
@pdockal Hubby may be 'right' about this, but my advice to him would be to take a step back and decide if this battle is worth fighting in the larger arena of the marriage. If a small concession or two makes my wife unreasonably happy, I'll yield them.
