U.S. Electoral College

I'm done with it... have been for quite some time. Depending on what state you live in your vote means nothing.

We (the country) should have a President elected by the people, not politicians.

Yeah, even though the vote normally follows the popular vote its usefulness has passed in my opinion.

It was meant to keep the larger states from dictating policy to the smaller states.

But my way of thinking is why should a person be penalized for choosing to live in a larger state?

@Pretzel The current effect of the EC is to warp policy by focussing attention and spending on swing demographics in swing states.
