This house is making me angry... [I Am Weird]

@ViciDraco I have to say, I've read all the hoa rules where I live, several times. While this house probably doesn't meet the min sq footage and the roof is too steep...there's nothing about windows lol

@SooperSarah haha. I hate HOAs with a passion. So long as I can control it, I will never live in one.

@ViciDraco I was hesitant, but people I work with live here and said it's not an issue. Basicslly the developer just wants to keep things looking nice while he's trying to sell lots and houses.

@SooperSarah I am just the type of person who wants a home, not an investment. If I decide tomorrow that I want a pink house with green and orange polka dots then I should be able to do so and I am more than willing to extend the same privilege to my neighbors.

@ViciDraco I hear and understand that. I'm not interested in doing anything too exciting so it doesn't really matter to me

@SooperSarah I am honestly not either. My backyard chickens and soon to be ducks are about as wild as I'm going. There is just something about the principle of it that rubs me wrong even though it doesn't really affect me

@ViciDraco I know exactly what you mean, and I'm the same way. The problem is the area I live in is mostly old homes that are like 100 years old. The newer stuffs is all in subdivisions with hoas. I really forget there's even an hoa till I pay my small yearly fee.
