I'm watching Hoarders

This is some of the most shocking television I've ever seen in my life. Most reality shows are just BS but this is real horror.
I know it's an illness but it's still hard to fathom.

Hoarders feel empty without maybe knowing it and they feel as if that stuff makes them more...substantial?
