Police brutality is targeted because it's sensational and it's egregious because it's coming from people who are supposed to protect and serve us. The other problems are tougher to identity and to tackle. I agree they should be addressed. We can all agree police brutality is bad, but it's harder to come to a consensus on what aspects of urban culture are harmful (and what specific effect they have). The ultimate problem is poverty/inequality. If black people were socioeconomic equals to other groups, I doubt we'd be seeing all these problems.

@cupidnpsyche I’m talking about you not being able to make comparisons without knowing anything about the history. You can say what you want, but it’s a different set of circumstances. In a lot of places, Mexicans were classified as “Caucasian, Spanish surname” I’ve seen that on several birth certificates of older people.

Hell I almost had a young officer loose his shit. He pulled me over because I didn't signal. I handed him my license both and I immediately said sir I have a cpl and I have a firearm in my center counsel. He reached he yelled it was crazy. That was my obligation to inform him I have a firearm smh
