Is misdemeanor serious? If obstruction of and officer?

If you were convicted of such, you would have a permanent record, and you would be unable to work thereafter in the health field or in any job which requires a background check.

The following fines or jail time could potentially be levied:

Obstructing a police officer is a class 2 misdemeanor. If convicted, a person faces the following possible penalties: three to 12 months in jail; and/or a fine of $250 to $1,000.

@cupidnpsyche That should ALL have been mentioned during your hearing. If it was not, then you can appeal, but if the conviction stands, you have a record.

@cupidnpsyche If you have that tendency, to be psychotic, and now have a record, you should probably apply for jobs that don't require background checks.
