Well, this is different 😶

She told me she hasn't been interested in a man in years. She's switched to only women because the thought of being with a man started grossing her out. At least until seeing me again.

She's saying she's curious again & due to what I'm going through, she feels bad that her mind is in the gutter.

It seems like we both still have strong feelings for each other & we're not really sure if we should do something about it or not. It kinda feels like she's saying these things to encourage ME to be bold & make the first move but I can't really tell lol. Part of me is also like "wait.. if she likes women now I probably wouldn't be good enough for her 😅"
I'm sure most people would tell me "dude you're an idiot. She's into you" but I'm always somewhat doubtful about when a woman really wants me or not lmao

Surely the decision simply depends on whether you and she are just intending to have some fun together with no expectation of a permanent relationship or fun as a prelude to a lasting relationship.

There are pros and cons for either one of course but perhaps you are overthinking it. Just make your desires clear to her before you jump into bed together :-)

She might not want you forever but you both might have some fun just now. And as for being good enough, well you'll never know if you don't take the plunge.

The same goes for whether or not she really wants you; no need to be doubtful just ask straight out.

@ninalanyon I overthink everything 😂 but yeah I think I would be okay with having fun just for now. Because I know we'd still stay friends afterwards. When we were young it was always romantic between us & we had sex on/off but our friendship always held a higher importance to us. Whenever either of us started dating someone, we would go back to keeping it friendly between us lol.

A relationship honestly seems a little scarier still since we've never done that together & of course I JUST got out of a relationship. & It's not like it was just a BS relationship, it's my kid's mom 🤷 I think if we did mess around though... We'd probably just be experimenting if we COULD possibly be in a relationship together. Which seems okay to me. We're both very self aware & we've always been good at being honest with each other

Hahah I think it's a bad idea to hook up with someone who mid-way thru sex might become disgusted that you are a man. You are in the rebound stage so just think carefully about your decisions.

@SkeetSkeet yeah it does worry me a bit but we've hooked up often in the past so it's not like it's unfamiliar or unexplored territory for us. Idk. She's pushing really hard to see me again & I know if we don't do anything we're always gonna wonder.

Weird thing is my kid's mom cheated on me with her "first love". I didn't purposely plan it this way but it seems like I'm about to give her a taste of her own medicine. But even THAT, isn't the reason I'm interested in any of this at all.
I don't care if my kids mom finds out but I'm not gonna actively try to be obvious or hurt her
