I will never be in love again

Or feel excited about another human being in my life. Feels strange to say that but I'm utterly sure that it will be the case. I just don't have those feelings anymore. In a strange and masochistic way I sometimes miss those feelings, even though they never did me good.

Here's to robot life 🤖 🍷

Falling in love is a drugged feeling. Drugged by your own endocrine system. The reward system is activated in hopes you will procreate. Tolerance builds. We're lucky to end up with a good friend, I think, but even then the circle of life leaves one alone in the end.

I'm so inspiring to hear from, I know

@faery I will listen to your words.

Felt. I don't miss any of it though. I don't miss the confusion or ambiguity of someone's mood swings. I don't miss the things I say being taken out of context. I don't miss giving and giving and feeling drained. For the first time in my life I feel stable and deeply content.
Yeah I feel that. The more time passes, the more sure I am that I won't be feeling love or trust for a man. I know I'm capable of loving deeply, I dearly love my pets, my family but i don't think a man would ever earn this trust and love, not romantically at least. That's my current mindset, who knows what will I think in the future.

First of all your avatar..needs changing.......As My Friend who has PD often says,You don't know..nobody knows...as for robot life it might be more interesting than you think

I was going to try to say something profound like Pope's An Essay on Man but that stuff doesn't go here

What @faery said is true, but also the more we age, the less h0rmones we have, and other things do not work as well, so there isn't much motivation to go through all the bull that being "in love" brings.

Same here bro
Tbh being in love is a scam cause those feel-good chemicals in your body always end up overriding our monkey brains and it feels like being on drugs. No thanks! I’ll stay sober

Nunki · 31-35, F
When was the last time you felt something for someone?
@Nunki 2010 I think. Then getting over them. Nothing at all since maybe 2020.

That's neither a short nor long time. One really never knows. If it's meant to be it'll happen and that's fine. If it's not it won't and that's fine too. One thing to remember is that grass often looks greener on the other side. Might as well try to find the little joys in life however it is. Also, never ever lose your sense of humor.

I mean those AI bots are getting freaky they could rock your world 😈
