It always makes me laugh

When I'm overseas and people ask me where I'm from, which they often do, and I say England and they'll always say they love English people and I'm like, it's ok to say that you hate us. We know that everyone does 👀

It's pretty much the equivalent of me being a virus and you asking me which one I am and I say HIV and you going wow, I love that one.

Nobody loves the English, come on people!

I do! I had a large group of English people who used to work near my job(temp) that I bartended and I loved them. They used to go there only when I was working. Even when it was just the women with them or just the men.. Now I miss them all 😩 They were good people and didn’t get sloppy drunk like many others.

Our family loves the English, we had at least one British friend, mom would find the Royal family endlessly fascinating, and she loved the Irish accent of such as David Tennant. You Brits are a beloved people gosh darn it!!
