When two opposing positions are close in proximity you can perhaps have some faith that the truth lies somewhere in between
In an increasingly polarised world it is increasingly difficult to gauge where the truth might lie between utterly distant stances. All you get are narratives, each side increasingly compelled to stretch the truth or present a version of it. Equally, you are compelled to choose a side, as if your very moral fibre depends on it.
If you aren't left then you're right. If you aren't pro then you're against. If you aren't against then you're complicit. There is no in between in 2025 and no room for nuance.
