I was never a member of Experience Project

It was a mixed bag. EP was a lot more active than SW, providing much more instant interaction, and more personal connections. On the other hand you didn't get notifications (including about PMs) without refreshing the page, and moderation was a joke. You know how some words apply an adult label to some posts here? On EP, using certain words would just delete your post before publishing it. No chance to edit, no explanation. Just thanks for spending 20 minutes on this, but please start over. Reports and appeals didn't seem to be handled at all. (Although the handling of reports seems to be more and more automated here as well, with no feedback for any I submitted for almost two years and most content staying up, and censoring of comments is getting pretty extreme too, though at least they're still being published albeit without notifications and therefore limited visibility.)
