What do you think makes people keep coming back to SW?

As we know, people leave and then return. It's pretty much assumed that everyone will be back eventually. Do you think it's the case that if you are the type who could so easily walk away then you wouldn't have stuck around in the first place?

Curiosity always wins. People can't help it, they gotta come back to see if the place has changed. In one way they hope it has, but in another they hope it hasn't since familiarity is a comfort.

I also think those who must take breaks or leave they have a feed full of negative posters and they haven't once touched the block button. They also tend to take this site and all interactions a tad too serious and personal.

If you are actively filtering away bad content, and you have self distance, it will feel very easy to hang around in here.
