I went to SU! umm.the weather there stinks! But the school is good, especially Newhouse and Art and a couple of others. NYU and SU are Two very different college experiences

You sound like a nice young lady. This site can be a nice place to chat, but I would caution you to not take things personally or you might not enjoy your experience here or on any chat site. People lash out because they are unhappy and an anonymous internet forum is a place that it is easy to accomplish said vitriol. I am from New York as well. Gerritsen Beach is near Long Island, in Brooklyn. Not far from Sheepshead Bay. I enjoyed your story. God bless you.

@JuliaC: All I know is our cities have been in a rough stretch. You know it is bad when your city's quote is "We'll get them next year." I'm glad you said you are a Mets fan. Even though I should dislike them, I have problems with the Yankees.
