Does your hometown have any fun nicknames?

I don't live there anymore but my hometown is westland,michigan. It's referred to as wasteland. It's not that bad I never understood why it got dubbed wasteland.

We just have a commonly known name for local wind. It's an abbreviation of "Fucking *name of the city* Wind" and every local knows what it means.
