I'm still at the same place and at this point I hate being reminded of the past. I just feel stuck and conserved like a museum artifact in a museum where hardly anything changed. Actually this is even hard to explain to people because I doubt many experienced something similar. As for the city where I live, I don't consciously think of how streets and various places looked before when I walk around them, it's mostly after having a dream where they show the way they used to be.
Perhaps only one place crosses my mind every time I visit it and it's the park in my birth town that was reduced and cultivated. Before, it was semi-wild, with tree trunks lying all around, narrow trails between tall vegetation, a bit like in the woods. Now there are houses where it was reduced and the park itself has wide sidewalks and mowed lawns.
