When did you last go to your old stomping ground, and had it changed much?

My friend and I visited the projects I grew up in a few years back in the summer. We didn't stay long, but as we were standing outside, a good sized bird fell from a telephone pole or wire almost right at our feet, dead. Was very strange. That place sickened me still, and the dead bird falling just made it seem worse.. It did look better but I could see the sadness and shame thru the coats of paint
