Have you ever received a gift for no real reason?

I do this for my sister too because her husband is a real tightwad even though she earns more money than he does and she always puts her 3 children first. So I think she deserves a gift every so often because she’s an amazing mom and I like to give her something that she can’t really buy for herself without getting chastised. And yes I have been given gifts when it wasn’t any sort of special event.

I had this ex who liked to bring me gifts... I was broke and was feeling shameful I couldn't reciprocate. But it was sweet.
