Are you a totally different person when you haven’t got to go to work the next day?

This week, my weekend starts tonight and I’m buzzing. No anxiety or preparing for future arguments in my head. 🙂

Home I'm Nina but at work they know me as Dr Geffen, vascular surgeon
I work from home the vast majority of the time so I would say that I'm the same either way. Work doesn't stress me, fortunately. If I were at the age for going out and partying then I might liven up a bit more come Friday night but alas no, lol.

{@ceinwyn] yes like many can understand your point you feel more relaxed chilled when you are not at work . the workplace can be a hazard to your mental well being with stress of the job local difficulties with others you work with

One of the most profitable things to do in my line of work is often to do nothing. I like the mental challenge of having to problem solve. And also because I know I can make money

When I worked I only had one day off a week. So that was errand day. Now, I am retired. The first two years I was so busy moving and getting everything done. Now I am caught up. I actually look forward to Mondays now. The kids are in school and everyone else is back to work. The stores are empty and doing anything is so much easier. Vacationing in the spring and fall is so much easier and cheaper than going in the summer. Today we are binge watching a series. It feels good to relax without a care in the world. Our biggest decision is what to have for dinner tonight. I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend. 🤗

Today is my cook day, I was up at 5:00am.

It's going to be busy, I have 62 bowls to cook & delivery

Tomorrow, no work, so it will be a beach day = no stress
