I had a busy day today!
I went to bed at 3:45 am and I woke up at 10am to join my group from our one course doing some lab work over zoom. I was so tired and I'm already way behind in that course so I understood absolutely nothing of what they were doing. I secretly recorded the entire session so that I can rewatch wtf even happened and study what they're saying before we present out solution to the teacher.
When we were finished at 12pm I took a feverish but well needed 1h nap. I knew i was supposed to already sit in with my other group from the other course by that point but I knew I'd be useless unless I got some sleep. Once I woke up i had a look and nothing had happened without me there. I'm actually the one carrying our group in that course so it's kind of interesting being at two sides of the spectrum at once. So I solved some math problems with them from 1pm to 2:45pm.
Then I had scheduled for my mother to pick me up from my apartment at 3:30 since I'm going to live with them for a few days to go to my driving lessons on monday and tuesday, so I had to clean, quickly! I want my mother to understand that I can take care of myself and not worry so I did an exceptional job at cleaning. All the nicotine: Hidden. All the alcohol: Neatly arranged. All the trash: Thrown out. All of my necessary items to travel: Packed. She stood outside of my door the minute I was finished. Score: A+.
We then spent the next hour and a half drilling into the roof and putting up hotel-style curtains. They're a bit too short but they just barely cover the windows if you're careful. We will have a white/beige pair of curtains behind as it's a double rail system, I think it's going to look very neat.
Then I drove us all the way back, we brought home pizza and had a lovely reunion with my brother and parents and caught up on most things that has happened the past 6 weeks that I've been away.
At 10 pm I went to our local shop and I finally got to wear my black coat and brown leather boots, I've missed them a lot! It felt so good having my trusted attire back on. Warm and secure... It's a rainy day and it was a lovely little walk to the store. When I got inside a girl working there looked at me with an expressionless face that at the end turned into a smile as she resumed packing the shelves. I would smile back but my mind was too busy thinking about what reason I had to smile. I appreciated it though, it's not often people smoothly acknowledges my presence unless I directly speak to them.
Now I'm in bed, 11pm, having a cold red bull and telling you all about my day. Whoever it is that will read this absolutely mundane post.
also! In case you didn't see the animation I did yesterday (I'm not finished) here it is again
