I Am Glad People Can't Read My Thoughts

I'm a Christian and I want you to know we Christians have very dark thoughts, just like anyone. Well, I suppose it depends what you consider to be dark. I don't feel comfortable getting into some of mine (maybe if you ask in a pm.. MAYBE). I will say that on the outside, I look like a kind and caring person who's in a happy marriage and is loving life... But you know what? Some days I'm not so happily married. Maybe my husband is getting on my nerves or I'm having a bad day. Sometimes I could punch someone in the face, but I won't. :) I'm just saying.. we have our bad days and struggles, too. And I'm glad I can choose who can know about them.

That is because you are a person, you know, a human. Having a particular faith does not change this, does not change the basic nature of what you are unless, and often even if, you are consistently striving to be better.
A passing thought is one thing. A lingering idea you go back to over and over again might be an issue you need to figure out how to deal with and decide if you are going to be accepting of it. As you and everyone else knows, thoughts often lead to actions, effect our behavior and how we treat those around us.
