If I post something with sweeping generalizations
Just be aware:
1) that is me. I do that. Do I know it pisses off people? Yeah. Don't rise to my occassion.
2) if you simply prove my point, you are included in that sweeping generalization, no matter what side you think you stand on. Trust me, you aren't the first to prove my point.
3) i already know "not everyone" but feel free to call yourself out as one of them so I know to avoid you. People tend to weed themselves out.
4) just know, I probably posted because:
- the thought crossed my mind and I'm still processing it which means my thoughts and feelings aren't fully fleshed out and you are getting upset at a fairly half baked thought;
- i read an article or was listening to a podcast and again, simply expressing a starting thought or concept that I've probably read and/or heard ad nauseum and coming to terms that whatever it is I'm running through my head comes up way too often than it ever should and I'm half assedly bringing some awareness to it for others to help bring more clarity to;
- I am so overwhelmed by the skin of humanity being openly pulled back and seeing just how many people are monsters, or have literally no concern or desire to be aware that their ideas are monstrous and have no desire to change. Or, even worse, so staunch in their wrong thoughts based on lack of self education of things as they really are, they are actually assisting these horrors against humanity to continue because they not only don't care, but put malice behind it due to their ignorance. So my ppst is just my way to get that heartbreaking realization out there, hoping that those who can actually make changes, either with themselves or the system, do something. Sadly, I only seem to encounter those who don't care enough to realize their back handed support of the horrors allow them to contine, making me hate humanity even more.
Mostly, it is because people think they are good people, including myself, but they are shitty in various areas and have no problem being that way because empathy and understanding is more work than just being shitty about it.
