People’s lives like a scene in a book

Books practically raised me. That’s my excuse. There are times when I’m around others that I picture reading the events and words taking place in the moment instead of hearing or witnessing them firsthand. I can almost see in my mind how they’d be written on a page. If you could read my thoughts, you’d be literally reading.

@Colonelmustardseed Oh that has to get annoying, do you ever try to break that habit? Narrating your own life in your head as you do things. I sometimes have to put effort into not doing that and just let my mind go blank

@MartinTheFirst My own life never makes it to the “pages.” It’s just other people’s. I’m forever the reader.
That sounds funny though. “He opened the fridge and peered inside. ‘Shut…up!’ he shouted to his own narration, rolling his eyes and slamming the fridge closed.” 🤭
