Why do we fall?

Why do we fixate on people? Why do we convince ourselves we love them. Why do we idealize a life together without consent. Why can’t we just stay platonic. Why if I never act on impulse I can’t rationalize my feelings for her?

Because if you don't like yourself or your own company you need someone else's love to love you so you can like yourself, and if you can't get that validation, you obsess fixate and imagine it because your brain will react as if it's real.
