I Am Glad People Can't Read My Thoughts

When he walked into my office and after the introductions I didn't hear a word he said. He was handsome,  smelled good and had very nice shoes on but I was lost in his sad eyes wondering what his story was. I was wanting to just pull him close and wrap my arms around him and kiss him passionately making him forget the source of his pain. In that moment I wanted to take away every ounce of sadness he was feeling for at least a little while. Instead I smiled,  nodded, made all the  necessary comments, took his card and walked  him out.  If only he knew what I was thinking.... 😊
