I Am Glad People Can't Read My Thoughts

When he walked into my office and after the introductions I didn't hear a word he said. He was handsome,  smelled good and had very nice shoes on but I was lost in his sad eyes wondering what his story was. I was wanting to just pull him close and wrap my arms around him and kiss him passionately making him forget the source of his pain. In that moment I wanted to take away every ounce of sadness he was feeling for at least a little while. Instead I smiled,  nodded, made all the  necessary comments, took his card and walked  him out.  If only he knew what I was thinking.... 😊

Wow, if he only knew! You and I think alike... Unless he was a bassett hound, then maybe that had happened to him before. ;-) --DW

But I think these things at work, often. Maybe less than before but still...

We're human. We have those thoughts even if we never act on it.

...and the thing is that I'm more cognizant than ever before that the men around me (maybe women, too?) are having these thoughts as well.

That's so true. I often wonder why so much now?

My theory: because we are at that age. My libido went nuts a few years ago. But who really knows?

LOL! I'm gonna stick with your theory! I have always had the desire to help people and he looked like he needed to be saved! but with my body!
