@Starchild1983 It's just been one thing after another all year.
I'm now at the point where I'm wondering what will be the straw that breaks the camel's back???
I mean, sure I planned to separate from STBX... but not for him to break his femur, end up in rehabilitation - then I'd be harassed by the staff at his facility to the point where I no longer feel safe to go to visit him in that facility.
I held out for as long as I could... but one of the staff threatened to take my dog from me, less than 24 hours after I got him - and that was the final straw for me. Now, he has to meet me out in town if he wants to see me.
I guess I got what I wanted in one way - just not in the way that I envisioned it happening, that's all.

Feeling down. Realized yesterday was my 43rd wedding anniversary, but with my wife being in memory-care I just didn't even realize what day it was. The first anniversary of our marriage that we weren't together for our anniversary. But I don't think she'd remember/realize what an anniversary is and I'm not sure she'd even know who I am any more. :'(
