I think there's a lot of truth to this

I think foods without pesticides or preservatives are more expensive because the customer covers the cost of all that had to be thrown away and couldn't be brought to market.
Lilymoon · F
@DrWatson half the time who knows if it really is 100% pesticide free
DDonde · 31-35, M
@DrWatson This, it's all about the cost to them
Elessar · 26-30, M
Any moment you breathe, drink or eat anything, you're ingesting micro plastics and cancerous substances of all sorts.

It's literally in the air, water, soil - the only way you have to have be health is getting your food from another planet, assuming there's some civilization out there that didn't let systemic greed be the foundation of their societal system.

Even the most expensive, 100% bio natural whatever food you can find has been irrigated with contaminated water/air.

@Elessar yeah just kinda feels like we're at their mercy ... also the population keeps ballooning so they come up with new "frankenstein" foods that aren't even real while the vegetation and meat will probably at some point run out.
Cancer is a good way to decrease the surplus population. (I know it sounds conspiracy) hahaha
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Lilymoon Cancer is actually horrible for any sinister plan like thay; people getting cancer with a higher frequency imply significant costs for healthcare systems and insurance companies. And besides, it would affect both rich and non-rich individuals equally.

If anyone in power wanted to get rid of you, they'd rather send you to war instead. Much better controllable (you get to decide who gets enrolled and who's exempted; if you pick your adversary wisely you can halt it at any time you please, etc.) and better time tested.
Lilymoon · F
@Elessar yeah true thanks
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Bold of people to assume that more expensive foods marketed as bio are without pesticides. Do you have a home lab to test every fruit or vegetable for harmful substances? No. You have no chance to know.
Lilymoon · F
@CrazyMusicLover exactly!
Ontheroad · M
It is kinda crazy, but food without pesticides is more labor intensive to grow and can result in lower yields. The rest makes no sense at all.
Lilymoon · F
@Ontheroad yeah makes you wonder
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
Tinfoil hat conspiracy incoming:

But what if the food industry and pharmacies are in cahoots with each other
Lilymoon · F
@caPnAhab yeah that's my thought ugh
