Ever think someone is pretty cool and then they say or do something that totally blows that theory

Yeah, I always try to be more forgiving than that, I all then what they meant, why they felt that way if they said something concerning their beliefs or feelings etc. Or at minimum weigh out in my head what they said, (if it was really upsetting or sounded really out of his/her character) and if it might have been a joke or maybe even began to expose a pattern of character flaws I definitely didn't want to align myself with. Some people say things sarcastically (like me), randomly (like me) or maybe say things a little misaligned with beliefs of others (like me) to get people to see things differently, make someone smile during a difficult situation or get someone distracted long enough that they themselves question why they were upset in the first place. There are an infinite number of reasons people say what they do. If we stop and ask what they meant, then we can understand people and their own personal perspectives on things and why they say, feel and do things they do. Which I am sure you already knew all of that. 🤪
