I Dreamed That I Moved To An Old House In A Village….

Was going to repaint and fix up the house etc. the village was an amalgam of two different villages that I’ve actually lived in. A neighbor lady came to talk and was talking kindly about the children and other people living in the village. I was going to take a walk and visit with them and then I woke up feeling homesick. It felt good to be living in a village where children were outdoors laughing and playing and people were friendly and helpful.

@Oster1 Yes it was sweet. I have thought living in a rural location would be good but a village where there were no troublemakers and everyone looked out for each other would be wonderful wouldn’t it? I believe one day it will be exactly like that. a world not so much focused on money where bartering of goods and services would become the norm.

@cherokeepatti I believe, you are correct. I too, think about this scenario. It's just not feasible for me, at this time. Hopefully one day, I can experience this idyllic, way of life. 😊🌷
